While I was up in Vientiane, Laos, I got the privilege of chilling with a few members of the Laos National Rugby Team. Hannah, my friend who lives there, has been helping out with team by doing lots of excellent photography and other awareness building for a sport that I think it’s safe to say is still catching on in Asia.
For better or worse, Hannah also introduced me to the blossoming pop cultural phenomenon of Carly Rae Jepsen, which Joe and Elle played ad nauseum (from Wikipedia: “a Latin term used to describe something unpleasurable which has continued ‘to [the point of] nausea'”) during the Laos New Year.
